Basic everyday exercises done by social media influencers on TikTok and YouTube do not create elite athletes!

In order to maximize your athletic performance, you need to have constantly varied movements done with a combination of static and dynamic exercises.

1. Static exercises are ones that you hold.

A study done at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and published in the Journal of Biomechanics showed that runners with weak deep core muscles are at a higher risk of developing lower back pain.

An unsupported core can cause injuries or pain that keep athletes out of competitions for extended periods of time and can even lead to career-ending injuries.
